DESCRIPTION:Adult Paleo Class at Texas Through Time Museum.  Thursday\, March 20th 2025 from 5-7 pm.\nAre you an aspiring paleontologist or novice fossil hunter? Come learn what it's really like to prepare & preserve fossils with professional paleontologists!\n\n \n\nIn our new Adult Paleo Class\, fossil enthusiasts will get the chance to learn all about fossil excavation\, preservation and preparation as well as museum curation.\n\n \n\nIn this introductory to paleontologist class\, we will begin with an introduction to paleontology PowerPoint & presentation on how fossils are found\, excavated and preserved for future display. Then an exclusive tour of our prep lab and active fossil projects & restoration followed by learning proper preparation techniques and getting hands on experience by prepping your very own fossil fish\, which each student can later take home.\n\n \n\n Class will be from 5-7pm on Thursday\, March 20\, 2025 at Texas Through Time Museum.\n\n \n\nClasses are limited and pre-enrollment is required to secure a spot.\n\nFor ages 16 and up.\n\n \n\nClass is $75 per student\n\n \n\nLocated at\n\nTexas Through Time Museum\n\n110 N Waco\n\nHillsboro\, TX 76645
