SUMMARY:Christmas for Kids Donation Drive
DESCRIPTION:For 47 years\, the Ted Whitley Optimist Club of Hillsboro and 1560 KHBR Radio have teamed to co-sponsor "Christmas for Kids."\n\n\n\nThe program is unique\, as it not only provides toys for children\, but also clothing that is needed during the winter months.\n\n\n\nThis year\, the club expects to provide gifts and clothes to over 250 children.\n\n\n\nOver the years\, many churches\, organizations and individuals have responded with checks or cash donations or boxes full of toys.\n\n\n\nThe goal during this holiday season is to make sure that as many children as possible have at least two gifts to unwrap on Christmas morning.\n\n Collection boxes for donations are available in Hillsboro at:\n\nHillsboro Ford\n\nWalmart Supercenter\n\nEagle Drug\n\nAnytime Fitness\n\nTom's Tires\n\nDollar General\n\nHillsboro Unified Tae Kwon Do\n\nHillsboro Area Chamber of Commerce\n\n\n\nApplications to be a recipient of Christmas for Kids  are at the HISD Admin Building at 121 Franklin St. and due Dec. 8th by noon.\n\n\n\nContact David Mojica at 254-205-3889 for more info.
