DESCRIPTION:National Night Out is scheduled for Tuesday\, August 5th 2025 at 6PM @ the City Park in Hillsboro\, Texas. Burgers and drinks will be served from 6pm to 9pm. Music will be from 6pm to 10pm.\n\n \n\nIf you wish to have a canopy and table for your business please call the Hillsboro Department of Public Safety's Brittany Gardner at 254-582-2381 x 2120\n\n\n\n*** If you need electrical outlet for your tent spot\, there is a limited amount that we can furnish for the evening and it is first come first serve until we run out.\n\n\n\n*** You may promote your business\, give out promotional items or furnish what ever you wish but you may not sell items.\n\n \n\n*** This event is for our community and we furnish food\, drinks\, music\, water slides and lots of fun for the kids. \n\n\nNational Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer\, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore\, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.\n\n\n\nMillions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states\, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August (Texas and select areas celebrate on the first Tuesday in October). Neighborhoods host block parties\, festivals\, parades\, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations\, seminars\, youth events\, visits from emergency personnel\, exhibits and much\, much more.
