DESCRIPTION:This April\, the Hill College Music Program presents the spring band and choir concerts at the Vara Martin Daniel Performing Arts Center.\n\nOn Tuesday\, April 16\, 2024\, at 7:30 p.m. the Hill College concert and jazz bands\, under the direction of Steve Hart\, will perform a variety of music from traditional marches to big band swing\, with compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach\, George Gershwin\, Quincy Jones\, and Lennie Niehaus\, revered musicians and composers of their musical genres.\n\nOn Tuesday\, April 23\, 2024\, at 7:30 p.m. the Hill College choir\, under the direction of Dr. Caleb Chang and pianist Larry McCord\, will present a performance of several beloved songs including Kyrie\, O Danny Boy\, I Dreamed a Dream\, Va Pensiero\, When You Believe\, Disney on Broadway\, and more.\n\nThese events showcase the talent and dedication of the students and faculty of the Music Program at Hill College\, which prepares students for university-level music study and careers in music as musicians\, singers\, and educators.\n\nFor more information on the Music Program at Hill College\, visit the Arts & Humanities Pathway webpage at hillcollege.edu.
