Our Mission
For more than a century, the members of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution have dedicated themselves to historic preservation, promotion of education, and encouragement of patriotic endeavor. These goals are as relevant in today's society as they were when the organization was founded in 1890.
Although a young chapter, members of Fort Graham Chapter are very active in supporting the NSDAR values of patriotism, education, and historic preservation. Projects have included yearly scholarships to local graduating high school students, DAR Good Citizen contest, provision of goods to active-duty soldiers as well as patients in the Waco Veterans Hospital, nomination and awarding of the Americanism Medal, organizing the high school assembly for Constitution Day, successful designation of several historic cemeteries, participating in a fund-raiser event to benefit a local museum while wearing Colonial costumes, and being awarded a Registered Texas Historic Designation for the Carver Mansion.
