Paw Place Rescue is a private rescue & sanctuary providing temporary and long-term care to animals in need. Located just outside Whitney city limits, in Hill County, TX.
Giving rescues a peaceful sanctuary—one paw at a time.
At Paws Place Rescue Inc., our mission has always been to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome. But over time, we’ve come to realize that not every animal needs a new home — some just need a final one. That’s why we expanded our work to include a sanctuary: a peaceful, loving space where animals who are too old, too fragile, or too traumatized to be adopted can live out their days in dignity and comfort.

Safe haven and sanctuary care for animals in emergency or special situations
Selective adoption placements for animals ready for new homes
Community rehoming assistance through social media networking
Microchip scanning for found pets to help reunite them with their families
Donation-based short-term boarding for small dogs and certain animals
Partnerships and support for local organizations, including veteran-focused fundraisers
