Horticulturist Greg Grant to Present Gardening Program in Hillsboro

Greg Grant, a highly respected horticulturist, author, and land steward, will present an engaging program titled Year-Round Earth-Kind Bulbs for Central Texas on Wednesday, August 13,  2025. The presentation will begin at 12:00 noon and will take place at the Hill County AgriLife Office, located at 213 Stadium Dr., Hillsboro, TX 76645.
 
Grant brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the program. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Floriculture, a master’s in Horticulture, and a Ph.D. in Forestry. Throughout his career, he has written several well-known books, including In Greg’s Garden: A Pineywoods Perspective on Gardening, Nature, and Family and Texas Fruit and Vegetable Gardening. He also co-authored titles such as Heirloom Gardening in the South, Texas Home Landscaping, The Southern Heirloom Garden, and The Rose Rustlers.
