Late Bloomer 4th of July Parade in Hillsboro, Texas
Join us for the July 4th Late Bloomer Parade in Hillsboro, Texas, a beloved community tradition since 1985 celebrating patriotism, neighborhood charm, and the historic homes of Hillsboro’s beautiful Historic Home District.
The parade begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Participants should queue up at 9:30 AM at the corner of Thompson Street and Corsicana Street. No registration is required — simply show up, line up, and join the parade route.

This long-standing Hillsboro tradition also honors Ms. Late Bloomer, who will be named in advance and featured in the parade. The event celebrates both a local woman whose life reflects community spirit and the historic homes that continue to preserve the beauty, character, and heritage of Hillsboro.
Parade entries may include horse-drawn wagons, lawn mowers, bicycles, strollers, convertibles, classic cars, antique tractors, horseback riders, dogs, trucks, and more.
Bring the family, decorate in red, white, and blue, and enjoy a small-town Independence Day tradition in Hillsboro, Texas.
