Advocate Supervisor 2
CASA of Hill County Texas is seeking a full-time Advocate Supervisor 2 to supervise, coach, and support CASA volunteers as they advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are in protective care. This position works closely with volunteers, courts, community partners, and CASA staff to help move cases toward safe and permanent placements for children.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising CASA volunteers and assigned cases
- Reviewing court reports and assisting with court hearings and testimony
- Participating in case meetings, permanency planning, and placement discussions
- Training, coaching, and supporting new and experienced advocates
- Maintaining accurate case records and statistical data
- Building relationships with legal, social service, educational, and community partners
- Assisting with community engagement, program development, and CASA events
Applicants should have strong communication, leadership, organizational, and volunteer-management skills, along with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially. A bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field and experience with nonprofit organizations, courts, DFPS, foster care, case management, or child advocacy are preferred. - Full Job Description
