Full Moon Star Party at Lake Whitney State Park


Join us for an unforgettable night under the stars!



We’ll be gazing at the Full Moon and spotting some amazing constellations, including:
• Orion: Known as the "Hunter," Orion is one of the most recognizable constellations in the night sky.
• Canis Major: Home to Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, often called the "Dog Star."
• Gemini: Representing the twins, Castor and Pollux, this constellation is all about brotherly love.
• Perseus: Named after the Greek hero who saved Andromeda from a sea monster.
• Taurus: The mighty bull, home to the famous Pleiades star cluster!
